Agropur's Board of Directors, is pleased to announce that Agropur's U.S. subsidiary Trega Foods, has acquired Green Meadows Foods, a new cheese factory located in Iowa. The Iowa facility will now be part of Trega Foods' operations and will be overseen by Trega Foods' President, Doug Simon, who reports to Agropur Cheese and Functional Products Division's President, Louis Lefebvre.

FDA is making available a draft Compliance Policy Guide, Dairy Products-Microbial Contaminants and Alkaline Phosphatase Activity. The draft guide, when finalized, will provide guidance for FDA staff on its enforcement policies for pathogens and other indicators of inadequate pasteurization or post-pasteurization contamination of dairy products.
