2025 Student Video Contest

APPI hosted its first Student Video Contest, encouraging college students to “Make It With Dairy”! Seventeen videos were submitted to compete for cash prizes showcasing creative recipes made in a kitchen. Thank you to all the students who participated, and we look forward to hosting the contest again in 2026!

Meet our 2025 Winners!

First Place

Produced by Katherine Rehberger and Osasere Igbinoba, both MSMass spectrometry More students in Food Science at Washington State University. Featuring recipes for three dairy-based desserts: Vietnamese yogurt, Panna cotta, and Jericalla.

Second Place

Produced by Emma Shepard, a junior in Food Science at Iowa State University. Featuring a recipe for Cereal Milk Banana Pudding.

Third Place

Produced by Mary Johnson, a first year MSMass spectrometry More student in Food Science, Technology at the California State University, Fresno. Featuring a recipe making At-Home Oreo Cakesters.
