Michigan Milk Producers Association

MMPA is a milk marketing organization which is owned by about 2,000 dairy farmers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. The Cooperative is the major supplier of milk to the fluid market in Michigan. It operates balancing plants which produce butter, nonfat dry milk, sweetened condensed products, plain condensed milk, and cream. MMPA also is involved in a joint venture with Leprino Foods in the operation of two mozzarella cheese facilities in Michigan.
