University of Georgia, Center for Food Safety

The Center for Food Safety and the Department of Food Science and Technology are academic units of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Georgia. We conduct research to advance food science and food safety as well as we train students at BS, MS and PhD levels. UGA is a land-grant university that is also involved in extension activities supporting a variety of stakeholders including the food industry.
